Terms of Use

By using our house cleaning services, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

Terms and conditions 

All cleaning done is based on a hourly rate or per room rate. The hourly rate will be based on your personal circumstances, location & house size. Cleaning will commence on the day and times agreed and will continue until further notice. Please inform us if your cleaning is ongoing or short-term.  If hourly appointment and you feel the cleaning is not satisfactory, you will need to buy additional time.  We can only guarantee the time if that is what is needed to complete the job.  If you are on a per room flat fee plan, we simply come out to reclean the items missed as long as reported to us within 48 hours of the initial clean.  No refunds are allowed under any situation (unless approved by management) due to the subjective and gray nature of what “Clean” is.  No refunds for Gift cards.  But we do provide our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee to come back out to fix the messed items or tasks.

Squeaky Clean House can provides all cleaning materials and supplies. However, if you desire that we use your own equipment e.g. vacuum cleaner, mop & bucket, cloths and cleaning materials, you will need to let us know BEFORE your appointment.  If you have situations or type of finish on walls, sinks, cabinets, or floor that require a specific solution other than what we use, you need to let us know and not assume we should know.  No two customers are the same and everyone has their favorite brands and way of cleaning. Also, some bleach based products are acceptable providing the necessary precautions are taken, any use of bleaching agents in the property is at the customers own risk.

SqueakyCleanHouse.com is a ‘House Cleaning Referral Agency’ as well and is different than just your atypical house cleaning company and we will illustrate how.

 

Think of us as a “clearing house” for many other house cleaning companies where our technology pulls in and only uses their BEST cleaners.   Similar to a Kayak . com does for Tickets on airlines or Orbits as well.  They pull from many other companies speeding up your shopping time and hassles.

Most standard house cleaning companies have to hire and train beginners in your home but WE don’t since we have the ability to pick from multiple companies at one time.  Think of it like a Filter of sorts that looks at many other companies within 10 seconds so you don’t have to do all of that legwork and calling around!   Saving you a LOT of time & money too!  Our technology provides the best of both worlds – our own cleaners and a network the the worlds best from other companies, all in one place!

flexFlex vs Firm Mode Detailed Explanation 

With SCH, all plans come automatically with our “flex” system built into the pricing and time we are at a home.

With flex, we simply double your base man hours to create a “Range of Time” to work with while also staying within your budget range too!

 

So, let’s look at some examples –

  • if you bought 3 man hours — your flex cap would be 6 man hours
  • if you bought 4 man hours — your flex cap would be 8 man hours
  • if you bought 10 man hours — your flex cap would be 20 man hours

So, using the 3 man hours example, if we were at your home for 5 man hours, we would pro-rate the charge (rounded up to nearest minute) accordingly.  But we would not go over the 6 man hours unless we got permission first from you.

It is important to note that if you choose FIRM mode at sign up and then change your mind to add more hours after we arrive, you may not be able to extend the time if the cleaners have another appointment after yours.   The main purpose of FIRM mode is for those that are on a VERY strict budget and want us to clean as much as we can for that budget amount, not that it guarantees we do everything you need done within your budget.  If we use the Flex time, be sure to remember that this time will be added to your Base Estimated Price total, AFTER your cleaning is over.  Your Base Estimated Price on your Booking is what it is assuming we do not use any Flex time or Deep cleaning factored in yet.

 

Complaints and discipline procedures

For any reason you are not happy with the cleaning standards or for anything else please contact us as soon as possible – preferably within 24 hours. You as a customer and client are all important to us so if we get something wrong tell us communication is important and 99% of the time can be resolved , we will always endeavour to do our best to sort out the situation efficiently and promptly.  For this guarantee to apply, you must have had your home properly decluttered before we arrived.

Health and safety

All equipment including electrical to be used by Squeaky Clean House.com must be in good working order. Any Customers home we clean must be a safe working environment in which to do our job properly. Health and safety is important to you as the customer and Squeaky Clean House.com to eliminate any un-foreseen accidents.  In the event that a house is a hazard or cluttered, we reserve the right for our cleaners to take pictures of the area(s) for before and after of what was done.

Inclement Weather

As you know the weather in Oklahoma can be unpredictable. If there is a storm in progress on your scheduled cleaning day;  the office will make a judgment call as to whether the staff will be going out that day. We would never want to jeopardize the safety and welfare of our staff. If we do have to cancel your visit due to bad weather conditions; we will call you to reschedule your cleaning.

We ask that you please be aware of the conditions outside of your home on the day that we are scheduled. Please keep driveways and walkways shoveled, sanded and/or salted so that our staff can access your home without getting injured. If you feel that we may not be able to access the home because of the conditions, please call the office in advance to let us know.

Keys, alarm systems and security

If you as the customer require Squeaky Clean House.com to hold a key to enter your home, under no circumstances will we keep your address details with the key. However to identify your key it is acceptable to keep a key fob with your initials to make it easier to identify which key belongs to you. You must inform us of any alarm system that needs to be unset or reset. It is in our best interests for your keys to be kept secure at all times. It is our policy to keep our customers keys safe however we will be fully responsible for any keys lost or mislaid for them to be replaced as soon as possible.

If you as the customer are present, please make sure that you are there to let us in at the agreed time. If we arrive at the designated time and no one is home without giving notice, you as the customer will be responsible for paying Squeaky Clean House.com the full amount of hours for that day. No cleaning fee will be refunded.

Any Incidental costs incurred by the company or cleaners as a result of a clients action will be fully reimbursed by the customer immediately

Squeaky Clean House.com has a strict no smoking policy. We do not accept anyone smoking while at the clients premises.  This also includes the use of computers, telephones and/or any other personal item/s belonging to the customer which are not permitted to be used except in an emergency

Cancellation

If your appointment is cancelled or Lock-Out (can’t get in) there is a $100 fee applied to card on file.

Deep Cleaning

Our price for General cleaning starts at $39 per MAN hour and unlimited deep cleaning tasks can be added for additional $25 more per MAN hour on top of the $39.  Hoarding Clean-Up is $89 per man hour.

If Deep Cleanings to your Booking, be sure to remember that this cost will be added to your Base Estimated Price total, AFTER your cleaning is over.  Your ‘Base Estimated Price’ on your Booking is what it is assuming we do not use any Flex time or Deep cleaning factored in yet.

The Deep cleans of Decluttering, Laundry & Hoarding require someone home

 

Home Walk-Through / Approval Of Cleaning before we leave requirement for our Guarantee

Since we want our clients to have a great house cleaning experience, we require that the home owner do a one of the following before we leave:

1) Walk through the home with our cleaners before our departure to a) add more time or b) approve job

or

2) View our after photos via text and either a) add more time or b) sign off on them before they leave.

In either case, when you are ready to approve the job we did, all you need to do is simply shoot a Text to your cleaner OR our Approval Line # @ 405-259-5450 by replying “I approve”.   That is it!

Non- Competition Policy

By entering into a service agreement with Squeaky Clean House; our cleaners agree not to clean any past or present Squeaky Clean House customers on the side, or on their own.  Please don’t put them in a jeopardizing situation by asking to hire them without going though Squeaky Clean House.  They are required to sign a non-compete legal and binding contract with Squeaky Clean House.

Payment terms

All payments for any cleaning done must be paid on the day of the clean via credit card only.   We may run a pre-authorization on the card for the total or estimate amount prior to cleaning but would not capture those funds until your cleaning is done.

Cleaning exclusions

Squeaky Clean House.com  do not do the following:

· Work at any premises other than private dwellings, shops, offices, hotels & public houses.

· Exterior window cleaning or interior window cleaning to surfaces at a height of more than three meters above floor level.

· Any cleaning involving the use of ladders, although small stepladders are acceptable providing they are safe to use.

· Cleaning valuable items such as fragile ornaments, porcelain or china, articles of glass, earthenware stone or other articles of a brittle nature. Please    ensure you inform us of such valuable items so that they can be put in a safe place to avoid accidental damage.

· Any form of gardening or tidying up externally.

· Moving or lifting heavy items that could cause injury including large items of furniture.

· The cleaning of kitchen canopies, extraction equipment ducting, or grease traps.

· Cleaning of customer cars

· Anything illegal or dangerous

– If any children or teenagers under the age of 18 are in the home without a parent or adult supervision, we have the right to deny cleanings

Animals

We are not liable if your animals manage to escape your house while we are cleaning.  We try to make sure we are very careful about letting animals out of house but ultimately you may need to make sure they are in the back yard or a room to prevent this.

Public liability
Squeaky Clean House.com do not cover for any damaged items already broken or any item deemed broken by us or the cleaner without proof of receipt. The customer is responsible for the first $100 of any claim. It is advisable to have home contents insurance to cover for items less than this. Any damages must be reported to Squeaky Clean House.com within 24 hours with a cover note. Proof of the damaged item may be required and receipts to show cost, this is to eliminate any deliberation.
