Terms and conditions 

Think of us as a “clearing house” for many other house cleaning companies where our technology pulls in and only uses their BEST cleaners.   Similar to a Kayak . com does for Tickets on airlines or Orbits as well.  They pull from many other companies speeding up your shopping time and hassles.

Health and safety

All equipment including electrical to be used by Squeaky Clean House.com must be in good working order. Any Customers home we clean must be a safe working environment in which to do our job properly. Health and safety is important to you as the customer and Squeaky Clean House.com to eliminate any un-foreseen accidents.  In the event that a house is a hazard or cluttered, we reserve the right for our cleaners to take pictures of the area(s) for before and after of what was done.

We do our best to check all cleaners for criminal records and run manual checks on them about every 90 days.  We cannot guarantee that a cleaner has something new show up or something we missed show up on their record.  If you suspect something unusual or something missing from your home, let us know so we can investigate the matter asap.  Due to the constant changing of what Drugs are legal or illegal State to State, we do not Drug Test our cleaners at this time.  We use the reviews and feedback from our Customers to get an idea on this.  

Inclement Weather

As you know the weather can be unpredictable. If there is a storm in progress on your scheduled cleaning day;  the office will make a judgment call as to whether the staff will be going out that day. We would never want to jeopardize the safety and welfare of our staff. If we do have to cancel your visit due to bad weather conditions; we will call you to reschedule your cleaning.

We ask that you please be aware of the conditions outside of your home on the day that we are scheduled. Please keep driveways and walkways shoveled, sanded and/or salted so that our staff can access your home without getting injured. If you feel that we may not be able to access the home because of the conditions, please call the office in advance to let us know.

Keys, alarm systems and security

If you as the customer require Squeaky Clean House.com to hold a key to enter your home, under no circumstances will we keep your address details with the key. However to identify your key it is acceptable to keep a key fob with your initials to make it easier to identify which key belongs to you. You must inform us of any alarm system that needs to be unset or reset. It is in our best interests for your keys to be kept secure at all times. It is our policy to keep our customers keys safe however we will be fully responsible for any keys lost or mislaid for them to be replaced as soon as possible.

If you as the customer are present, please make sure that you are there to let us in at the agreed time. If we arrive at the designated time and no one is home without giving notice, you as the customer will be responsible for paying Squeaky Clean House.com the full amount of hours for that day. 

Squeaky Clean House.com has a strict no smoking policy. We do not accept anyone smoking while at the clients premises.  This also includes the use of computers, telephones and/or any other personal item/s belonging to the customer which are not permitted to be used except in an emergency

Cancellation & Lock Outs:

  • If your appointment is cancelled for any reason after its been active more than 24 hours, we reserve the right to charge the Estimated Base Rate (per your Booking Confirmation) as the Cancellation and/or Lock Out Fee.  
  • We do this because if we did not, we would not be abe to attract & retain the best house cleaners since they would lose money on those hours or dates if nobody else books that time slot (similar to how a Hotel does it)

Non-Competition Policy

By entering into a service agreement with Squeaky Clean House; our cleaners agree not to clean any past or present Squeaky Clean House customers on the side, or on their own.  Please don’t put them in a jeopardizing situation by asking to hire them without going though Squeaky Clean House.  They are required to sign a non-compete legal and binding contract with Squeaky Clean House. If you would prefer to do business with a cleaner of ours and avoid paying us, you can do so with the one time Referral payment of $450.

Payment terms

  • We process an Pre-Auth / Temporary Hold on your card prior to your cleaning based on the Estimated Base Rate (final rate could be more once we add in Deep clean items or additional man hours added by you) 
  • Once the cleaning is complete, we will give you the option to pay final invoice with Venmo or Cashap so you can get that Discount 
  • Once it is paid via Venmo/CashAp, we will then remove the Hold on the card on file
  • We only handle payment negotiations with the person on the card so its important you be home to inspect them yourself when possible 
  • once your balance goes over 8 man hours and you need more time or have pre-approved more time, we may send you a Venmo/CashAp request to break the payment up into 2 payments, which helps us know that you are happy with the work up to that point
  • Occasionally, our payment processor will label certain credit or debit cards as a higher risk, have a zipcode mismatch, or not allow us to process it for some reason.  When this occurs, we may need to send you a payment request via Venmo or CashAp to pay your bill
  • If we do ANY Deep cleaning while in your home, your man hour rate will be the Deep cleaning rate for ALL the man hours we did while in the home
  • Due to the very unstable and unpredictable current situation with the Covid19 pandemic, we cannot offer any refunds or future credit on Dumpster Rentals for Hoarding clean out jobs, even if we are at fault for a no show or bad weather reasons
  • If your home is one that is 12+ Man Hours (larger jobs), our crew leader may suggest we charge your balance into 2 payments and collect 1/2 mid day and the final amount after they are done. If this is the case, we will send you a receipt too for your records if needed.

Base Estimated Price

  • This is the minimum amount we require to pre-auth your card for to Book your slot, NOT your final price.
  • It is the “Estimated” price too, not the Final total and may not include Deep Clean items or additional man hours added later on
  • The “Estimated Base Price” is also NOT an Exact Cost since it does not include the Deep clean add-ons or any Discounts yet

Our Guarantee

  • We provide our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee, assuming you, the paying customer, will be home to inspect us room to room, for both Quality & Speed. 
  • Sending before & after pics of our work to you does not negate this policy. Sometimes a cleaners phone or camera phone does not work or battery dies while on the job so this is not something we promise or guarantee to provide.  Just a complimentary service.  Customer is responsible for asking the cleaner for the before/after pics BEFORE cleaner leaves the home.
  • Providing video’s of our cleaners is not a substitute for this policy unless customer is willing to pay us the man hours to watch all the videos at a rate of $20 per hour. 
  • Having another person home that is not the paying customer is not a substitute for this policy.
  • We do not have camera’s on our cleaners nor GPS tracking so if you need proof that a cleaner is at your home or was in your home, you will need to be home during the cleaning.  
  • The Money Back Guarantee applies in the case we cannot show up for any reason that is our fault. It does NOT apply to cleaning quality issues since this only is covered when the customer can be home.  
  • No Refunds Period
  • If paying customer is not home during the entire cleaning, we do not provide post appointment customer service resolutions if you are not happy with the cleaning for ANY reason.

If you have an issue with the cleaners Quality or Speed or anything, as you are inspecting them Room-to-Room, please send us a TEXT ONLY  (not call) to 405.259.5450 with your Name, Address and the issue so we can look into it asap before they keep cleaning additional rooms.  

Cleaning exclusions

Squeaky Clean House.com  do not do the following:

· Work at any premises other than private dwellings, shops, offices, hotels & public houses.

· Exterior window cleaning or interior window cleaning to surfaces at a height of more than three meters above floor level.

· Any cleaning involving the use of ladders, although small stepladders are acceptable providing they are safe to use.

· Cleaning valuable items such as fragile ornaments, porcelain or china, articles of glass, earthenware stone or other articles of a brittle nature. Please    ensure you inform us of such valuable items so that they can be put in a safe place to avoid accidental damage.

· Any form of gardening or tidying up externally.

· The cleaning of kitchen canopies, extraction equipment ducting, or grease traps.

· Cleaning of customer cars

· Anything illegal or dangerous

– If any children or teenagers under the age of 18 are in the home without a parent or adult supervision, we have the right to deny cleanings

Animals

We are not liable if your animals manage to escape your house while we are cleaning.  We try to make sure we are very careful about letting animals out of house but ultimately you may need to make sure they are in the back yard or a room to prevent this.

Public liability
Squeaky Clean House.com do not cover for any damaged items already broken or any item deemed broken by us or the cleaner without proof of receipt. The customer is responsible for the first $100 of any claim. It is advisable to have home contents insurance to cover for items less than this. Any damages must be reported to Squeaky Clean House.com within 24 hours with a cover note. Proof of the damaged item may be required and receipts to show cost, this is to eliminate any deliberation.

Photos or Moving companies on Same Day of cleaning is not recommended.  We do not guarantee the time of your appointment but we do guarantee the Day.  So as long as we can make the day you requested or agreed to if we moved it, the cancellation fee would stand if done 72 hours or less in advance.

Any Incidental costs incurred by the company or cleaners as a result of a clients action will be fully reimbursed by the customer immediately

Duties of the Customer

  • That you have reviewed our Estimated Pricing Chart here: https://squeakycleanhouse.com/estimated-prices-chart/
  • That your home has all Utilities turned on when we arrive
  • That we cannot guarantee 2 or 3 cleaners due to Covid19 issues but will always try to send as many cleaners as we can to speed up the process
  • Nobody in home to your knowledge currently has Covid 19
  • That in order for us to do ANY Deep cleaning at all, it is the Deep clean rate for the entire cleaning so it is best to find additional deep clean items usually.
  • That you agree to notify us VIA TEXT ONLY 405.259.5450 the instant you are not happy with the Quality or Speed (any reason) of our cleaners the instant you discover the issue as you (paying customer) are inspecting them room to room.  This will allow us time to decide on best next steps and prevent small issues from becoming large ones too.
